Vehicles “Impounded” by either the Burbank Police Dept. or the California Highway Patrol, will require an Impound Release Form. Vehicles that are impounded cannot be retrieved without it. Please check the paperwork given to you by the law enforcement agency that had your vehicle towed for more information.
Vehicles “Stored” by either the Burbank Police Dept. or the California Highway Patrol, will not require an Impound Release Form. This will include vehicles towed from an accident scene (in the case of crime or investigation, a release form may be required.) Always check with the law enforcement agency that had your vehicle towed.
